  Get Ellie the chef with the Carolina hat, trust me he's amazing, get him to serve you. He really draws you into the experience and atmosphere Yamato's strives for, delicious food, very entertaining, my mom and I had a great birthday thanks to this guy. Clean place, great drinks, before you know it it's over. Many of the staff actually spoke Japanese.

  Great food and service was excellent. We had no wait time around 0600 pm and they let us eat at the hibachi bar. Cook was funny and really made it a great time. Would definitively go back again. Plus so much food we had to take to go plates for our whole family. Thanks yamato we enjoyed our time there.

  This place gets worse and worse every time we visit. Our Chef was awesome. Our waitress was awful! My drink (key lime pie martini) was really bad. Nothing like other times. My husbands beer was warm. And they charged me way different than other times. We always order the same thing. Just no. They get 2 stars because our chef was great.

  The chef & food was great... But i felt a little rushed by the server. She wasn't rude but was obviously in a hurry to leave. We were seated around 9:00 p.m.

  We were first told we would have a 10 minute wait which quickly turned to 25 minutes. So we decided to sit at the sushi bar. We felt as though we interrupted the sushi chef seemed a bit put out to serve us. We walked out after being served hot dishwater instead of sake. We’ll skip this
